Driver and Software for Digital Terrestrial and Satellite products

The software below includes both the latest Drivers and Application for your product. Once you have downloaded the software please refer to the installation instructions located below.

Important: Before you install any of the software or drivers make sure you have the most recent drivers for you Graphics card by visiting the manufacturers website. Also make sure you have the latest version of DirectX which can be found at www.microsoft.com/directx

dvbclear.exe
This program removes the files which may not have been deleted when using Add Remove programs. To run this program, download into a directory you remember (e.g. C:\ directory ) To run this file click on Start - Run. Then type in C:\dvbclear.exe hit OK and follow the on-screen instructions

ShowShifter is a Media Center application which can be used with various Hauppauge products. You can watch, Record and schedule as well as many other features. This is a shareware version which will expire after 15 days after which time you will be required to purchase the full version.

Technical notes and tips on using Digital products

Digital Terrestrial reception recommendations:
The most important thing is to ensure you are in a area capable of receiving Digital Terrestrial by checking your postcode at: www.freeview.co.uk
  • Make sure you antenna is in good condition and is not being obscured by (i.e. trees, buildings)
  • Check with your local antenna installer for recommendation for your antenna
  • If your antenna is sharing the reception with other TV's make sure this is correctly amplified

Digital Satellite reception recommendations:
The most important thing is to ensure you are in a area capable of receiving Digital Satellite by checking with your local satellite installer.
  • Make sure you satellite dish is in good condition and is not being obscurred by (i.e. trees, buildings)
  • Check with your satellite installer for recommendations for channels you intend viewing
  • If your ant is sharing the reception with other TV's make sure this is correctly amplified
