    Default HVR-1700 disappeared.......

    Hi all...

    Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe Bios 1015 and HVR-1700 ........all ok uppgraded to latest bios 1401 and HVR-1700 disappeared from devicemanager and windows 7 X64 does not find it anymore even if i move it around several PCI-E slots which works ok with other TV-cards fromTBS... reverted back to bios 1015 via "USB BIOS Flashback" and hey presto the HVR-1700 is back in DeviceManager.......

    Just FYI.

    Looks like a possible BIOS level memory overlap issue, that's just a guess.

    The TV Tuner problem was confirmed to be caused by the fact that the particular TV Tuner controller used on the reported TV Tuner cards have problem dealing with re-capture and write event during POST stage for proper detection of devices installed as outlined in the PCIE specification.

    The Asus BIOS team has developed a solution to this, such change will be included in the next official BIOS release.

    F.Y.I. Itīs more than HVR-1700 that has this problem BUT HVR-4400 Has NOT got this problem .....
