1. Using Time Warner TV cable set box.
2. My Colossus board works well when using WINTV7.
3. I want to use the Colossus windows7 multimedia app supplied by Hauppauge.

Problem: I do a scan for cable channels. This takes a very long time, but finnally says 100% done. But the message I get is "no channels found". So while this is not good there is a a known work-around: Go to Silicon dust and enter zip code and then channel information is provided. You just have to add each channel manually. The problems is that under edit guide, the "add channels manually" option is not available (not grey out...just plain is not there). MS Multimedia does recognize the tuner because I get past that step and it does see it. I have on another PC without a TV tuner seen the option "add channels manully" and others on other forums have seen this option.
Bottom line is I am trying to get the Colossus to work with MS WIN7 multimedia and it simply cannot find channels either automatically or allowing me to add them????
