IR Remote control isn't function with WinTV USB MiniStick
Hi guys,
Can you help me to solve this issue? I have a new DVB-T USB MiniStick, all working OK, besides the IR remote controller.
* I installed CD 2.5D WinTV & Drivers.
* I saw (using digital cam) that the remote control really transmit.
* I do see the small remote control icon on the device tray on Win7.
I have Win7 64, Ultimate,
Any idea how to solve it?
Thanks a lot

Re: IR Remote control isn't function with WinTV USB MiniStick
Same Problem here ;-) The Remote also does not work on my BIG PC with the HVR 1110. But it did work as i bought the Mini Stick. Mini Stick was connected to my 32bit Win7.
tried already a new baterry, but this was not the fault.
I thought i am the Only Person with this problem. But it dont looks like so.
As i remember the Problem was already in 2.5c maybe before too.

Re: IR Remote control isn't function with WinTV USB MiniStick
I hope the Team here can help us more. I only know there is an Issue. Which is not fixed yet
I know that the IR Remote from my HVR 1110 works on my MiniStick, but the Ir Remote from my MiniStick does nowhere work.
Now i use the x64 of Win7 on my Netbook, problem is still here.
I rarely used the Remote from the Ministick. And last time i tried it did not work

Re: IR Remote control isn't function with WinTV USB MiniStick
Which Model No of the Remote do you have? DSR-0112?
I Killed with HCW Clear everything and installed Version 1.3c. But it did not help.
Looks Like something is wrong with the Remote...???
Did you transport the Remote with Your Laptop in an bag or pocket or so? Maybe the DSR-0112 is an Cheap Universal Remote and somehow some Buttons where pressed and now the Remote transmits wrong codes to the Receiver and Software.
I realy dont know why it is not working any more

Re: IR Remote control isn't function with WinTV USB MiniStick
Hello
I have not personally seen any issue's using this remote control at all, can you make sure the handset is working (using a mobile phone camera look at the led of the handset while pressing button's to see if it flashes).
Also do either of you have any Anti-Malware type programs ? maybe they are effecting the IR software from actually running correctly (I have seen this before)
Also can you all list what TV hardware you are using ?

Re: IR Remote control isn't function with WinTV USB MiniStick
Hi
I can see very good all TV channels. The only problem is the IR remote - doesn't work at all.
I did validated that the remote do transmit IR signals (by observing it on digital camera).
I installed the drivers & WinTV on 2 different PCs (both of them are Win7)
I don't have any anti-malware, but do have Anti-virus, of course.
basically, it seems like an HW issue to me.
Do any of you, know if there is some application (besides WinTV) which indicate whether the IR receiver did receive any IR signals on the PC?
Thanks!

These work with my DSR-0112:
Windows Media Center (almost everything)
Media Player Classic (changing volume, play pause, stop)
