Unable to install WinTV 2.5d on Windows 7 x64

I have just tried to upgrade my WinTV application to 2.5d after downloading the appropriate software, but during the install process I receive a message that ".NET Framework V2.0 Not Detected" (image attached). The message says that I will be forwarded to the Microsoft Download Centre, and an Internet Explorer page appears to download .NET x32 version. This version does not install on my Windows 7 x64 system, and when I tried to download and install the x64 version of the Framework I receive the message that it is already installed on my system (see attached).

I seem to recall I had the same problem when I first installed my current version of WinTV 2.5, but I can't recall what I did to fix this. Until I install the new release it doesn't appear I can use WinTV Extend on my iPhone/iPad. What do I need to do to correct this?

Have you done a windows update recently as .net framework is 4.x i believe now ..
