Default HVR 1300 vs HVR 1110

    I have both cards

HVR 1110 with PHILIPS chipset SAA7131E

HVR 1300 with CONEXANT chipset CX23880-19 and CX23416-12 MPEG 2 encoder

I want to know what to choose, whar is the best card.

1110 model is smaller, triangular, and chipset seems to be newer.

1300 is bigger, with older chipset, but a MPEG 2 hardware encoder

¿What to choose for DBV-T? DVB-T SD and DVB-T HD (with external codec like core avc)

Default Re: HVR 1300 vs HVR 1110

for analog recordings, HVR1300 will be better with the mpeg2 hardware encoder.

for dvb-t, both should perform the same.
no use for mpeg2 hardware encoder for digital channels.
