Default Audio/Video issue - Gaming edition

Got my gaming edition hd pvr the other day and I can't seem to get it to work right.

On the ArcSoft ShowBiz software it all seems to be recording just fine, and playback is ok too.

When I import the footage into Sony Vegas 11 Pro I can play the first 20-60seconds just fine, but then the image freezes and it's as if just the audio has been recorded from then on.

If I open the same file in WMP then the video is all there, but the sound is 2-3 seconds ahead of the footage. If I open in Winamp then the video is only on some of the files, normally it is just the audio that loads.

Computer is running Windows 7, 4gb ram, 64 bit, 2.33ghz 2 quad processor.

Updated the drivers for the software with the latest ones and have fiddled with different recording settings and nothing seems to make a difference.

This is seriously annoying me and I am just considering returning the item if I can't sort this soon... So some solutions would be appreciated asap please.

Happy to provide any more information to help you out. Thanks.

M2TS is Sony's own Blueray format you should be able to use this with Sony Vegas Pro.

Some people have problems with seperating audio though and just use MPG4 with 14000kbps (highest bitrate).

I think there is something seriously wrong with the codecs that came with the PVR GE2 I'm having problem with windows playback, everything was fine with the old PVR GE1.
