My HD PVR has been acting up a bit recently. Whenever I try plugging in some component cables it either gives me a pink scrolling screen that fades back to normality for 1-2 seconds and continues doing its weird things or works normally with the following *slight* blur problem:



It get's annoying when I don't see this on my TV but when editing in programs such as, say, Sony Vegas, I can clearly see the lines and they get more visible when rendering out for best quality. Any tips?

And also, the cables work fine when I plug it straight into the T.V. No purple lines and clear quality.
