    Default HVR-4400 Picture breakup/ jitter CD 2.5d - EPG??

    Hi there,

I run three systems with the HVR-4400 and I've recently upgraded all systems from 2.4d to 2.5d, just to stay up to date.

On all three systems the DVB-T was jittery - the picture would break up every one or 2 seconds, the audio too. I did a clean install on all three systems and the problem disappeared on two of them.

On the third system I just cant solve the problem. The audio and picture still jitters constantly. Sometimes the picture and audio will break up for 2-3 seconds before display half of the next frame.

I havent changed video drivers or anything else on the system.

The DVB-S/S2 picture works just fine.

Looking at the logs, it looks like the EPG is constantly updating. It looks like its possible that the EPG updates might be happening in sync with the picture break ups. I've also noticed that the EPG will go to 20000-32000 entries...then when I restart WinTV its starts from a much lower number of entries and starts rebulding again.

    I've tried the following:
    - Complete reinstalls from scratch. Used the hwclear option to completely uninstall, reboot and then reinstall
    - Turn off AV software
    - Let the system run jittering for a while to see if the EPG or system will sort itself out... it doesnt
    - Make sure I do a complete channel scan from scratch without reusing an old database

I've even tried a brand new card in the same PC with the same results.

    Any ideas please? Much appreciated.
