Default HVR-1300 - No channels found - nothing found

Evening all - can anyone suggest what else to try?

    Tried the following:

    - Two different PC's, both running Windows 7 64 Ultimate, but the second PC was a format and clean install.

    - The second PC had the card inserted AFTER windows was installed, the first had the card in during the install.

    - Latest set of drivers installed, and Windows Media Centre & NextPVR tested, along with the stand-alone DOS tool - none of them find anything. I don't have the original CD for the HVR-1300 so I can't test WinTV.

Can anyone suggest anything else to try? I'm out of ideas!!

Bumping this - and adding 1 other thing i've tried:

    - Put card in another PC, installed Mythbuntu - this also picks up no channels. . starting to think the card has failed.

What type of aerial connection did you try. And secondly have you tried a composite video signal ?

Otherwise from what your saying its sounds pretty dead

Hiya, I don't know what you mean by 'type of aerial' connection? It's like a UHF cable that plugs in the wall socket of the flat, which connects to a roof antenna.

Composite video signal? You mean for doing video capture? I haven't tried that, but that's not the functionality I want really (i want to be able to watch TV!

    Thanks for replying
