    Default Bug: duplicate HVR-900

From your 2.5 fixed bug list:
    - Fixed an issue where a duplicate HVR-950Q could be found with Serial 000DFE0000
It still happens with HVR-900 too. Sometimes it's annoying because WinTV tries to use the "fake one".

2.5d still has this bug (the bug which causes random WinTV crashes and then a "NO TUNER FOUND" is still present, too. Oh, the remote control still sometimes stops working after resuming PC from sleep).

    Furthermore it introduced new bugs:

-(It happens sometimes) The first time you open WinTV, it says "NO SIGNAL", no matter which channel is (and no matter there actually isn't any signal problem). You need to change channel a few times, maybe close the app, and then re open it.

-There are some RANDOM moments where EVERY SD * channel on different MUX frequencies stutters, no matter which MPEG2 decoder I choose and no matter if the signal bar is stable at almost 100% and no transmission errors are reported.

It happens with SmartDVB too, so I'd say it's a driver issue.
CPU consumption is at 10%, so the problem is not related to my Sandy Bridge CPU.
    * edit: HD H264 channels stutter, too. Signal strenght bar is still good and no stream errors are reported, even if you can clearly notice macroblocks or half part of the screen which turns black for a second.
I doubt that the whole DVB-T Italian system is randomly (at the same time) affected by transmission errors which aren't detected by the Signal Strenght App. Needless to say, I can't notice any transmission error on an LCD TV connected to the same antenna.

-It crashes more often than before on H264 HD videos using my ArcSoft decoder (2.25.144.60).

Sorry to say this, but more test should be conducted before releasing new versions.
It took months and months since "accelleratore" was corrected to "acceleratore".
I've been feeling like a beta tester (MrX will of course remember the VHF/UHF bug and the choppy MPEG audio bug, but there've been a lot of other bugs in the past) since I bought this USB stick back in 2009, and that's bad from a customer POV.
3 years of customer experience, 3 years of new, returning and unsolved bugs.
I'd definitely hesitate before buying or suggesting another Hauppage product.

I also reinstalled WinTV, changed USB cable, installed the older 2.5c release, the video still stutters even if the signal bar is stable and no transmission errors are shown.
I wonder if the UHF/VHF receiver broke.

Here's a shoot from one of the countless stutters with the signal bar at full scale and no "transmission errors" shown.

It's not something I can help you with, but an observation: that picture does look like reception errors. That is exactly what you get with broken or missing packets.

Yep, but no reception errors are shown in the "Signal Monitor" app, it happens on every single vhf/uhf channel, and if I connect a LCD tv to the same antenna cable, there isn't a single channel with such errors (the same applies for other TVs connected to the same antenna).
I used to have such macroblocks in the past (I mean when I first bought this device, the antenna was an old one, and the regional switch-off was not yet completed), but Signal Monitor shown transmission errors and the signal bar dropped in the yellow/red zone.

It keeps stuttering as of today. Once again, I confirm that the Siganl Monitor app is always maxed (or at 80/90% on some weaker MUX) and no transmission errors are reported. I've also connected different Samsung LCDs to the same antenna cable, and no stuttering at all. The same applies for the other TVs in other rooms connected to the same antenna. I'd say we can safely exclude any signal problem.
I've also tried using another USB cable and different USB ports.
    What should I do?
