Help please my Wintv v7.0.27061.1 Crashes :(

Can anyone please help me, of give me the name of an alternative software I can use.

When I startup Wintv v7.0.27061.1 Its normal, untill it says: Buffering

Error: Capture Plugin for PCI Devices

I cant remember of I think I have changed, it just stoped working, broken?

I dont even use it to watch TV, I only use it to record through the Tulip audio/video connection.
I really hope someone can help me today or give me the name of alternative software I can use to record. Software have been reinstalled and removed from regedit, nothing worked...

If there is any info you need, just let me know, thanks!!

v7.0.27061 is pre-historic. Its over 3 years old. You'd have to download and install the current version as a first step.

Well that is a problem ass well, since the install wont let me continue since I haven't got the origional CD anymore... So thats just great...

So... THe support is I have to buy a new CD without knowing this will solve the problem, I get a PCI error so for all I know the PCI card is dead, great support...

As much as we'd like to, we cant give away copies of the WinTV software, since it costs us money for each install (due to licensed components included with the software).

You can still download the latest drivers from your device from http://www.hauppauge.co.uk, and it can certainly be used with lots of free TV software out there.
