    Default Desperate for help!

Ive had my PVr for aprox. 1,5-2years now and have been using it with much pleasure,, but recently (about 3 months) i am having strange problems. ive started streaming my games with the preview screen but after a while the preview screen starts lagging,,gets jerkey and distorted sometimes. at first i though it could be a cable issue.. so i bought new component cables for both my xbox and the pvr, if tried multiple USB cables and USB enterances on my pc, i tried almost every driver for the pvr i could find, i even got TME2

ive upgraded my pc's power supply thinking maybe my videocard wasnt getting enough power.

    i have a i7 2.8 Ghz, 6Gb ram,geforce GT 320, 1tb hD with windows 7

i read in the FAQ that stuttering etc. is because of videocard issues, but i have the latest drivers, and i have no problems with recording long sessions on my pvr.

only when im streaming the preview screen goes crazy.

to explain my streaming: i open up TME videorecorder. with alt-space i adjust the size untill the preview screen has no black around it. then i open Xsplit broadcaster, and with it i select the inside of the TME preview screen as "screen region" and start my broadcast

ive downloaded GPU-Z, to monitor my videocard, with TME and xplit on my Videocard hits a max of 43 degrees, and 50-60 % maximum load on the video engine and GPU.

whenever the preview screen lags and goes slomo and i quit TME. when i try watching any random video on youtube or where ever they all go Slowmotion.

any1 have an idea what it could be? if it is my videocard i am going to buy a new one for sure, because i dont think its my PC specs. that is causing this.

note: i do not record any gameplay with TME while im streaming, i only use the previewscreen as region to broadcast

if uploaded another example: if you watch it on 720p in fullscreen, i have temp readings and loads of my system the problems start around 24:00 mins

I could help you since I use Xsplit as well. Post what xsplit settings you use and we can go from there. Also make sure you have the latest PVR drivers 1.7.30059. Am guessing you don't have the full version of Xsplit as well?

Ahh ok so they haven't restricted the beta builds yet. Just to let you know screen region pulls a lot of resources on the cpu. Streaming is all about the CPU and less about what video card you have. You obviously have a i7 so you shouldn't have any problems.

What service are you trying to stream to? Twitch.tv, Justin, Ow3ned etc

Have you ran the bandwith tester on xsplit? Do you get red, yellow, or green signal?

No, i have a 8mb upload speed,, up to 4000kb/s bitrate i get green light. My problem is not bandwith, rather it is the capture module, that laggs and hangs after some random time of streaming. I know it is hardware related because after my module laggs when i try watching any kind of video, it is slowmotion.

When i add my pvr as camera in xsplit i get the same problem in even less time. The pvr output to my tv is normal even when its going slow

I find it odd that you had to do a full re-install but at least you fixed it.

yeah same here,, but also, i changed the xsplit vbv max to 4000 and my vbv rate to 9999, and its much smoother.. also instead of screen capture i add my pvr as cam. it seems to work, tho i had the same problem once... and im pretty sure its the videocard,, cuz the fan is set to 30% automatically,, when i try streaming then its only a matter of time before it cant handle.. when my fan is on 100% it doesnt happen
