Default Still need to refine the tuner allocation algorithm in the scheduler for multi-card

    Tested the new version 2.5a.

    Using Windows 7 Ultimate x64, with 1 x HVR1300 and 1 x HVR2200.

Tried to test 3 channel simul-recording, but the tuner allocation was wrong.

The first task was successfully input with no problems (recording a channel from HVR1300).

The second task was also successfully input with no problems (recording a channel from HVR2200).

The third task failed, even though I was setting another channel from HVR2200. This shouldn't happen, cos HVR2200 can record 2 channels at a time.

Btw, please dun be discouraged. Your software is getting better and better, and your customers (including me) appreciate that.

can you attach the channel database please (and log.txt from scheduling)

What sources do you have configured?

Uploaded the channel database and the log.txt.

Also took a screen capture of the failed input. I have isolated the problem such that it's actually only the HVR2200 that's the trouble.

That is, the problem will appear the moment I try to schedule 2 digital channels (not involving the HVR1300 at all).

Btw, I have configured analog source for HVR1300 and digital source for HVR2200. Although the antenna connected to the HVR2200 can also detect analog source, I decided not to scan the channels in order not to confuse u.

According to your database. The HVR-1300 was the one that scanned your digital channels, hence it will only let you schedule 1 recording.

I see an entry for three possible HVR-2200's. Which HVR-2200 is present on the machine? Is it the one 000DFE4DA7F7?

I'll fix your database for you.

I see. Will a clean install (without using the old database and old schedule) clear up the problem?

Yes, the 000DFE4DA7F7. The other cards were in the system as part of a troubleshooting process.

yes, empty the database and it will be ok or just use this database. I've pruned it and associated the correct boards with the correct channels.

I'll try to do another clean install then, since I also want to delete the extra HVR2200 entries (testing ended, so I dun need those entries anymore). If I encounter problems then I'll use your database.

    Thanks.

I did delete the extra entries for you. That database is all nice and clean :-)
