WMC fails to find all chanels in scan PVR1600

I have a odd problem when WMC when it scans it fails to even find half the channels as Win TV does and if I enter it directly it tells me the channels is either encrypted . When I no it is not since Win TV can play it. I heard that it could be due to WMC does a bad job of reading the station ID info.

narrowed it down to WMC windows media center just being complete junk and Microsoft not supporting their product they are very aware of this problem and have not released a update-patch for media center since Windows 7 was introduced

What channels couldn't you get?

none it finds some durring the set up but as it gets to the end of the set up it looses them then tells me no channels found I tried it all reset mdia center and even tried a fresh install on a windows 7 32 bit still now luck this is a common problem as I did a lot of research, but I can use Wintv works fine

Odd. Which satellite? Is it the Astra/Eurobird at 28.8? Are you seeing the channels you'd expect?

but like I sad the Wintv works just fine I just like the media center program guild how it 's bult into the chennel selection and tells me whats on that could only be a dream with wintv

You need to be very wary of low flying black helicopters if you believe what you have written.
