Hi
What is the actual source that you will be capturing ? does it have to be done using the Expression Encoder or can you use any app ? If you have been capturing off Composite or S-Video then it will normally be set to 4:3
Hi,
I have been using an HVR900 USB Stick for capturing live video to encode using Microsoft Expression Encoder, and it has been OK - a couple of flaky moments but usually OK. It seems the capability of the stick doesn't reach to widescreen - so I'm now looking at getting something more substantial. What is the ideal solution - it would be nice if I had something that could do HD resolution as well.
Really has to be USB interface.ur help
Thanks for yo

Capturing from a variety of live video sources, including cameras and video mixers in different situations. Yes it does have to be Expression Encoder.
OK please wait out for the next release of the WinTV software, it will enable the 16:9 via the SoftMCE for component / s-video capturing.
