Post Model 1228 Makes Games Lag

I had had it for over a year now and the problem has just started. What happens is that, example Guitar Hero, the audio will go out sync with the gameplay making it really difficult to hit the notes because I am going in time with the song.

Any suggestions why? This problem is really annoying because it makes the games unplayable for me and I have to either plug the componant cable straight into the TV or use an HDMI cable to play games.

Did you update to the newest drivers? Does your TV have the "game" mode option? If it was me I would personally not use the component passthrough and just use the pvr as a input source only.

You would need a HDMI Splitter and a HDMI to Component converter. That way you can play in HDMI on the TV.
