Astra 1 and WinTV with Nova HD S2 card

I'm thinking of trying to pick up RTL on Astra 1 at 19.2E. I've got an S2 that works fine with Freesat in Media Center.

I've never really used WinTV in anger. I know the transponder settings that are required, and will be getting a new dish pointed at the right part of the sky. Apart from that is there anything else I need to do to make WinTV work with channels like RTL?

In fact, is the S2 the right card - can that decode DVB-S as well?

yes any s2 device can handle the orignal s spec.

I would suggest getting a DiSEqC switch and have both freesat and astra 19.2e
