    Default Pause Recording

    Is there a way to pause recording using WinTV v7? I click pause, but that pauses the playback, not what is recorded to disk. As you can guess, I want to remove commercials. Usually I just edit them out. When watching while recording, which happens from time to time, I'd like to be able to click pause then resume.

    I have several WinTV 7 supported products, HVR-2250, USB-Live2

    Sorry, no there isnt (since the encoders dont work that way). If you want to edit bits out, the intention is that you do it post recording with video editing software.
