    Default Windows 8 drivers

Windows 8 public beta will be released soon, I think it uses windows7 drivers.
Has anyone tested a version with Media Center in it, if so how was it?

    Thanks

Quite excited about Win8 - just popped on to look for Windows 8 CP driver too

Win7 one works but with a lot of Tuner not available messages

If a beta is in the works i'd be keen to know about it

I'm quite taken aback by the frankly rude, abrasive, and useless comments made by the Moderator here. Disappointing.

I know what you mean, I haven't been on here for a while as all has been ok, when I first joined it was very helpful, maybe things have changed
    Check out

I havent downloaded it yet, I'm only interested in using it if it has MCE and I'm not sure if it's in that release, maybe the beta later on?
Not sure I'm keen on the interface yet how you getting on with it?

Yes I've been using the consumer preview since it came out on Wednesday..

It does have media center with no gross changes from the Win7 version

I use my PC as my main TV with the Nova T - 500 and it's always been great. However, the card is quite unreliable on Win8 in my experience so far, as are my audio drivers

Am sure this will change with time. Hopefully Hauppauge will be fairly pro-active.

Just had a play with it, win8 installed drivers for my nova-t pci x3 but missed 2 ir drivers, no worries for me as I use an MCE remote. The MCE interface is missing the mini guide, which i quite liked.

Channel changes are very slow, 3 secs and then there is a picture lag for about 2 secs.
Hauppauge, is this card drivers / OS / GPU drivers?

Developer Preview gave me audio problems, just like vista did, no problems with consumer preview

I also use XP MCE as my TV and have stuck with it and not gone over to win7.

I see new cd ver for nova-t pci, I assume they still use the same drivers as in 88x_2_126_28225_WHQL.zip
Has the lag in channel changes and lag in picture been addressed?
