    Default HVR5500; winTV 2.4: No HD-picture

    Hi,

I replaced a HVR1300 with a HVR5500 without clearing the drivers and installed the new drivers and WinTV 2.4c.
Everything works fine (including HD!), except creating new recording schedules ("No tuner available").

Then I cleared all drivers and WinTV, reinstalled the drivers and WinTV - then scheduling works.
But all HD channels (DVB-C) stays black. I can hear the sound, but no picture. Same with 2.4d.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance
    John

There seems to be a problem with the database.

After reinstalling all, including a new database, everything works fine. Even the old entry of the HVR-1300 in the device list has disappeared.

And: "thank you", Hauppauge, for that outstanding tool for renaming and sorting TV channels.
Only one hour of work, and all 40 channels were in the same order and same naming as before re-installing.
