WinTV Extend For iPhone Mobile Network Problem

After waiting for weeks, finally I got my WinTV Extend CD. Works well on wifi but when try out 3G on my iPhone, I got the message saying that it does not stream over mobile network

After waiting for weeks, finally I got my WinTV Extend CD. Works well on wifi but when try out 3G on my iPhone, I got the message saying that it does not stream over mobile network

You have to use the web interface if you want to stream over 3G. Apple has not approved the iOS app for streaming via 3G.

Thanks for the info. There's so many apps out there without iOS approval Why WinTV extend need one =/

All iOS apps on the iTunes store need approval for 3G streaming.

From the iOS Developer Agreement

Cellular Network:
3.3.27 If an Application requires or will have access to the cellular network, then additionally
such Application:
- Must comply with Apple's best practices and other guidelines on how Applications should
access and use the cellular network; and
- Must not in Apple's reasonable judgment excessively use or unduly burden network capacity or bandwidth.
