WinTV 2.4d Unable to change HVR-1600 S-Video input to PAL ?

I have a HVR-1600 on
Window 7 64bit Ultimate
8 GB Ram
Nvidia GT9800 Graphic
Core 2 Quad Processor

After installing WinTV 2.4D, It requested me to set the input as attached. I have try all input type there is in the configuration page and still getting the same result =(

Then one day I decide to try capturing on Corel VideoStudio Pro X3 and failed. However once failed with corel capruring, the card start to work. It has been working until today but everytime before opening up WinTV, I have to failed capturing in Corel pro x3 first =/

2nd issue :

Does extend work with HVR-1600 ? Because there's no "web" folder in WinTV program folder. HauppaugeTVServer is running but port 7799 is not listed in window listening port list. The extend log is empty. I try http://127.0.0.1:7799 no respond.

Please anyone with the answer respond to this post.

If you want to capture PAL instead of NTSC on the S-Video you'll need ot edit the following file C:\Program Files\WinTV\TVServer\GenPCI.ini

Add SOURCE_x_TUNER_FORMAT=256 to the Analog Source.

I've done this for you in the attached file so just drop it in and reboot (and empty the database). I'm just mentioning what I did as this applies for any board (to force a particular standard other than the default)

Regarding Extend. Did you purchase the CD from the web store or are you using a CD that came with the product? WinTV Extend only gets installed if you purchased the WinTV v7.2 Extend from the web store.

Thanks Mr. X. I will give it a try.
I downloaded the 2.4d from hauppauge support page and insert my 2.3f CD to validate installation. If I buy the 2.4d CD from webstore, can I download it or they will have to send me the CD ? Because I prefer downloading.

If the 2.3f was shipped with your board then it will be WinTV v7.0 (without extend)

If you purchase the CD from the web store they will ship you the CD in the post, but if you send them an e-mail they'll be able to give you access to install straight away.
