Hi

I am using a DVB-T Nova-T-500 in Windows 7 64bit. For the last year or so, this has worked fine. I used the included IR remote control to navigate around Windows Media Centre, in which I record and watch some TV.

The remote control has now stopped working. I have tried getting new batteries, re-securing the IR sensor in the socket of the PCI card, quickly searching the forum and, yes, even turning it off and on again. But no response from the PC.

Any suggestions of how to fix it would be greatly appreciated before I rip it apart to try and fix it. Does this remote have a visible light when it's working?

After that, suggestions of a good, cheap replacement might be more relevant.
