You could try the patch from epg-patch.zip. It should correct it.
You should backup your original files first, then replace them with those included in the zip file.

[QUOTE=TheNewGuy;104185]yep - I'll put it down to one of those 'cant please all of the people all of the time' type moments. People had been asking for two rows of text in the TV Guide so they could see more than a small truncated bit of the show name. Others had also requested the the channel icons. Personally, I think it's a step in the right direction. The old guide was just plain ugly.[QUOTE]
OK, here's a suggestion for a way to please both camps: a button to toggle between min/max (?) display modes. So at the press of the button, you can flick between seeing the new view (which is good in many respects) a summary of as many channels as possible on one screen. i.e. One line channel like the old view.
I'm already getting tired of having to scroll down to see more than the ten channels, when I used to see 20 or 25 at a time.

Try this patch WinTV7-guide-mode.zip. You can double click one of the channel names to toggle back and forth between compact and full mode.
If you add following line in your settings.xml file, then it'll remember the mode between runs of the application
<GuideCompactMode>true</GuideCompactMode>
I'd recommend backing up your settings.xml before editing it.

I'm curious, how does one go about getting a TV Guide listing in WinTV? I've never seen it, although Windows Media Center does have this capability, meaning when I run WMC, I have an automatic update capability for listing.
Which part of the world are you in? The application shows the multi-day DVB epg's that are broadcast in many parts of the world.
North America doesnt really haven't an equivalent broadcast epg (you can get a few hours on OTA ATSC, which is next to useless, and nothing on Clear QAM)
For those countries without a decent broadcast EPG you can supply your own xmltv file of listings if you want the guide capability.
I'm in USA, state of Florida. I updated my profile in the user profile. For some reason I hadn't included some of that basic info when I registered.
There must be some type of listing lookup capability because I think that TitanTV stuff y'all provide a link to asks me for zip code and service provider name, and as I mentioned in my prior post, that same level of capability exists within WMC. I'm guessing that getting that information into WinTV isn't straightforward?
It is actually straight forward to get this info, but unfortunately there is a relatively large licensing fee required to have get this type of information, so not something we can include in WinTV. Instead, we've designed WinTV to work without TV listings, but it can make use of them in countries where they're freely available.

No worries. You just happened to strike me at a time when I wasnt swamped with other work.
One of the guys here did notice a small cosmetic issue with the vertical scroll bar with this change, but I've fixed that for the next release.
