Still not working in iOS 5 beta 3. Stops at the first frame and shows a "Play" button on top, but it cannot start the video.
Any quick fix in the Extend server code to make it work?
Thanks.
Just a heads-up: WinTV Extend is not working on iPhone/iPad with iOS 5. I know it's still in beta but some App developers (Air Video) already updated the server coding to make it work on iOS 5. Video doesn't start automatically on Safari: there's a "Play" button on top of the video window, but streaming never starts.
For what I read, iOS 5 requires a simple change on the server side for Safari to allow video streaming.
Thanks!

I can confirm that it does not work with iOS 5.
It displays loading for a half second and then just displays a single frame with the play button over it.
Clicking the Play logo does not start the stream.
sort of disapointing after i just ordered winTV 7.2 with extend disc because Orb doesn't seem to work with this Hauppauge tuner card.
Also the Extend app on iOS just force closes when ever you try to open it after having entered my server IP, port, etc...
It's not an issue with our app / streaming - any video playback is broken. I've gone back to 4.x myself.

That was the case in early beta version of iOS 5 but its been fixed and all my other apps and websites are able to stream video no problem.
(netflix, newsy... Web video streams in safari are all working) however the extend app force closes on launch and the web version does not play any video.
What version are you using? I last tried Beta3

iOS 5 GM also does not work in Safari.
I am trying to use WinTV Extend app on both my iPhone and iPad but keep being told
"Server Version Error - WinTV Extend on server is too old. CD 2.4 or higher is required on server."
Although, WinTV General tab says: v7.2.29275 (CD 2.4c)
What's going on here?
