Did your HVR-4000 come with PowerCinema? If so this is the software supplied to watch HD and DVB-S2 etc. Install PowerCinema and you can use this for DVB-S2 and HD.

ALSO - if you leave PowerCinema installed, you can get WinTV v7 to use the PowerCinema H.264 Decoder under advanced options. (so you don't have to use the supplied software)

If you go to www.hauppauge.eu it's €10 for WinTV v7 HD and €18 for WinTV v7.2 HD with Extend.
