wintv HVR 1250 v7 endless "buffering" problem
when I open the wintv v7 interface the program window appears with no up or down channel buttons.
I click on the TV button in the lower left of the interface and the up/down channel buttons appear but
screen remains black and the window shows all channels "buffering"
I uninstalled and re installed the wintv software yesterday and it worked but today the same problem re-ocurred.
Device manager showed no problems. Any possible solutions to this problem

Re: wintv HVR 1250 v7 endless "buffering" problem
Hello:
Have you resolved your buffering problem yet. I ran into the same problem (i think) with my HVR 950Q. One day the TV tuner worked fine, The next day it did not. When opening WinTV 7 I got a black screen and it noted the channel was "buffering". It was a constant buffering that never cleared up. I tried to upgrade WinTV 7 and got several error messages so used system restore to go back to the original version.
In checking out possible resolutions I found I had accidentally deleted the "pause buffer" folder. It is located in this directory: C:\Users\Public\Videos in Windows 7. The folder was in my recycle bin. I restored it and WinTV 7 began working again. Perhaps if you do not have this folder in the appropriate directory you can simply create one and that might solve the problem.
I posed the question to Hauppauge tech support and got this response:
Can you browse to the following folder
C:\Users\Public\Public Videos\ and make sure there is a folder called ‘Pause Buffer’ without the quotes. If you don’t see one please make sure and after that retry the WinTV software.
I guess what they were trying to say is if you don't see one then create one.
If you have not resolved this issue I hope this helps.
