    Default Intermittent artifacts 1300pvr

    Hello all

I am happy with my 1300 apart from one main issue. Its as if its a signal problem, it will just start artifacting for about 10 seconds and then go again. As if signal strength has gone. This is not the case as i cannot replicate it when the aerial is plugged directly into my tv, rather than my media pc.

Could it be the card? The cable picking up interference? The cable is quite a thick one and doesn't have issues directly plugged into the tv.

I am using Windows 7 Media Centre x64 Professional. Latest drivers. It ruins recordings too!

There is a signal quality program in the wintv package (look at start, programs, wintv...). Its icon its a black chip. Does the bars always remain green (and with no errors)?

I assume this is DVB-T right?

Can you make a small recording showing the errors and upload it?

Can you also run this tool and post the log it produces
