MythTV does not recognize my Hauppage WinTV-HVR-1250 tuner on my Ubuntu/Mythbuntu 10.10 installation. I'm posting under my Win7 installation so I have to rely on memory to give you my exact kernel (which was updated last night): 2.6.35.27 I believe.

Do I need to flash my firmware?

Or maybe recompile my kernel w/ modules or capabilities built in?

Or maybe I can supply a compatible driver & adjust my configuration files to recognize it?

Or maybe I should just buy another, heftier card?

Also, should I get MythTV going, can I expect my IR remote to be operational?
