Slow motion stream
This is separate from the other issue that I'm having (see other post). I've noticed that if I play a stream remotely over extend for awhile occasionally it will start playing in slow motion with no sound. I assume this is because it's no longer getting the frames at a decent speed. Sometimes it'll get better if I change the channel, sometimes not. Most often in order to fix it, I need to restart my machine. I'm not sure if this is an extend issue or a streaming issue with my PC. My CPU usage is around 50% while streaming over extend so it's not a CPU issue. I have a fairly decent internet connection at home, and a fairly decent one here as well. Is there a way to know for sure?

Re: Slow motion stream
I think the problem mostly occurs when I try to change the channel. Example, I was just watching fine with no problems until I changed the channel, then I started getting the slow motion stream problems. Looking at the ExtendStreaming I get a lot of "SelectWrite indicates write not possible" errors.
TVTranscode shows messages like this:
2011-02-28 14:00:28.438 [DEBUG][1] No stream...
2011-02-28 14:00:28.438 [DEBUG][1] TV Server renew failed. Now used for: ,,Live TV,

Re: Slow motion stream
when it's slow motion - can you try copying out the .flv file from the pause buffer folder and upload it somewhere I can take a look at?

+1
I have not had a chance to try this again with 2.3d, but I had seen this in the past with a hardwired connection to my home router on a Lenovo T61 trying to stream off my server. Given the apparent significant transcoding improvement in the latest version, I suspect it won't happen again.
