Extend not working for livetv streaming (if pause buffer size = 0 minutes)
I've got WinTV7 2.3a installed, with extend set up on our home desktop, Win 7, HVR4400
Starting up the laptop I can connect to extend, get a channel list, playback a recording ok, use the scheduler, but watching livetv just does not work.
all I get it the "initiating Stream...." the same problem in both firefox and Internet explorer.
Attached extend log

Re: Extend not working for livetv streaming
Reproduce the problem and attach your ExtendStreaming.txt and WinTVTranscode.txt

Re: Extend not working for livetv streaming
Not matter which tuner is used DVB-T, DVB-S, Analogue all the same results.
Attached are the requested files.
I can't attach the extendstreaming.txt as it is over 4mb, and the limit if 976k for attached txt files

Re: Extend not working for livetv streaming
Do you maybe have the pause buffer set to zero minutes? (ie, disk buffering disabled)

Re: Extend not working for livetv streaming
Yes the pause buffer is set to zero

That'll be your problem. You need to have the pause buffer enabled to use Extend.

Re: Extend not working for livetv streaming
That seems to have done the trick, Thank you.
You may want to include something in the next release the defaults the pause buffer to something more than 0 if the extend service is enabled
