    Default Microsoft.NET Framework Message

    This evening I received the following message when attempting to open the Win TV program:
    The type initializer for 'TV Services.Core Systems' threw an exception. The details are below. I am not quite sure how to obtain the logs without getting into the program please be patient with me, new to this program, sorry for any inconvenience.
    Thanks

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Its a problem with your settings.xml file is corrupt.

    try a complete uninstall, then run hcwclear, then re-install.
