Default Several problems with recording (A/V-Sync, Video Drop...)

    Hello.

At first: Sorry if my english isn't perfect. I am from germany, just seeking for some help in the UK-forums of Hauppauge.

I am using the HD PVR for aprox. 3 weeks know an have encountered several problems (Only using it to capture footage from my Xbox360). Sometime it works fine - but mostley I have the following problems:

    a) Video and Audio are going out of sync. It's not like the audio is just a little bit shiffted, it seems like the delay seems to increase the longer the video goes. Even more strange: On some points the video is completly in sync again.
At first it seemed I could avoid this by switching the recording format to "PAL_60" and turning the preview on my PC off.
But one of my latest recordings again has this a/v-sync issue.

    b) One video is missing about 30 seconds of footage. it just does a kind of jump-cut. There wasn't anything unusual when I recorded (no display saying "No signal" etc.).

Perphaps you could use some more informations: I am recording with the Xbox-Settings. The MP4-Files are the only ones which could be used in my Sony Vegas 9.0c. Whenever I record in TS or m2ts, the files have no audio once I put them in Vegas.

Hope you are able to help me because this really bugs me :\

My guess is that MP4 is your problem, this has happened to others, including me...
Get the latest Vegas that can read .ts / m2ts files and you should be sweet... (Ive never used Vegas so I dont know which version to get)
