Nova TD 500 Remote and W7MC Remote Prob
Hi all,
I have recently purchased this card for my new media centre. Very happy in general but I am having one prob and can't seem to find a specific fix in my searching:
The remote control works great in WinTV with no probs.
However, when used in Win 7 Media Centre it acts erratically, with a single press of some keys regist as a double press and some presses not recognised. Unfortunately it makes navigating the TV guide almost impossible (e.g. when I press down whilst on BBC1 it will jump to ITV).
Any ideas / new drivers?
Many thanks.

Re: Nova TD 500 Remote and W7MC Remote Prob
I have exactly the same problem, did you ever find a solution? My remote will work fine for hours until it suddenly starts acting wierdly as you describe. It messes up Windows Media Center, as you say - I find that only a reboot will stop this for a while. The main problem that I have is that the buttons on the remote seem to jam. It's clearly not the remote itself because it continues to act like I'm holding the buttons even if I take the batteries out of the remote. Apart from messing up Windows Media Center the most annoying feature is the way that it loves to jam while turning the volume up. This means that the volume gets stuck at the maximum level - it seems to really enjoy doing this the most in the middle of the night - I bet my neighbours really love that. This effects Windows itself, it's not just WinTV or Windows Media Center that unexpectedly gets blasted out from my speakers at max volume at 3 am. This problem has persisted through multiple reinstallations of Windows 7 and is extremely annoying - but apart from this everything else about my WinTV setup works well. I have a WinTV Nova TD USB adaptor (95809). This problem has also persisted with various different versions of the WinTV software and drivers.
