Default HD PVR No Signal on Total Media Extreme

    Hi

well i have had my HD PVR for about a month now and it was working very well. I use it to record PS3 Gameplay. But for some reason now when i open total media extreme, it just stays as a black screen and i can't find "HD PVR" on the source list.. It's weird because i get signal on my TV, but no signal on Total Media Extreme. I have literally tried EVERYTHING... I've tried to install the latest drivers (which it already had) but i keep getting this message "Drivers have NOT been updated. Compatible hardware not found. <<click to exit>>"
I have tried ALL my computer's USB ports. I have even tried another computer and no luck.. I am running Windows Vista Home 64 bit, Dell inspiron 1545 , 4GB RAM

Someone please help me, i don't know what to do.. :'(

Try another USB Chord from the HDPVR to PC?

If you tried another Compatible PC then it cant be the PC side of things...

i have... i've used 3 computers and 2 different USB cables

i have tried it on a windows vista 64b, windows vista 32 b and a windows xp

i honestly think its something with the drivers because if it was the HDPVR, i wouldnt get signal on my tv, but i do. the only problem is that my computer doesnt recognize the HD PVR..

    So
    You have tried different PC's
    Different USB Chords
    And different Drivers..
Theres nothing left to think of except your HDPVR is faulty...

Maybe you could try another software (WinTV v7 supports the HD-PVR )

If its under Warranty (Mine came with 12month Warranty), id suggest taking it back to where you purchase it from and see if they will send you another unit maybe?

Or go to this thread (http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=20498)

and ring the numbers or email hauppauge?

Ask the guy your bought it off.. if its a store and brand new or even used, then he should have the warranty details etc... Or the warranty form might of came in your box?
