    Default IR Blaster UK Set Top Box (Pre-Learnt Codes)

    Hi,

    Some users have reported issues learning their Remote Control's with the HD-PVR, so here are some Pre-Leant Codes for some of the major UK Set Top Boxes. Simply extract HCWBlast.ini to C:\windows and you'll be able to have WinTV change channels on your STB.

    Customers who have other IR Blaster products that don't support learning can also use these files (e.g. HVR-1300, HVR-1900, PVR-150) for use with WinTV v7.

    Some tips for learning a remote, you should ensure that the remote is no more than 7cm from the IR Window on the HD-PVR. Also if Learning continues to says "Leaning Failed" then you should close IRBlastCfg and power cycle your HD-PVR.

    Nice information. I will be getting my PVR soon. I have a Virgin box though. Is there any way i will be able to get the remote working with the box.

    What does mean:

    Could you please post a HCWBlast.ini for Thomson/UPC mediabox (cablebox). None of the IR code sets (Europe/Cablebox/Thomson) seem to work with UPC mediabox and I assume there are many Hauppage HVR-1900 users out there having this problem. Moreover, although Learning function appears to successfully learn the 0-9/ok/enter keys, sending them back through the IR Blaster doesn't work either. Please help

    Are IR blaster codes available for Canal Digitalīs HD box in Sweden (SAGEM HDITSB81) ?
    Have difficulties to teach my remote.
