There have been a few threads on this subject, so I thought I'd post the how to (Thanks to TheNewGuy)
The HauppaugeTVServer runs using the System account which does not logon, so does not have permissions to write to network shares. All you need to do is:
Right Click on My Computer and choose "Manage"
Click on "Services and Applications"
Click on "Services"
Scroll down to "HauppaugeTVServer"
Double Left Click on it
Click on "Log On" tab
Click "This Account"
Then type your own Username/password for the PC.
Reboot the PC and you will be able to set the Recording Directory to a network path like:
It's not recommened to have the Pause Buffer file on a network storage, but you could also set this.
