1.3c Audio Stuttering & HD Aspect Ratio
Since installing 1.3c I've noticed that audio stuttering happens much more quickly than it did before. After just a few minutes.
I haven't tried recording it, but previous incarnations of the same problem - albeit after a much longer period of normal audio - didn't get recorded.
Is this a known issue? If so, how do I resolve it?
The problem with HD Aspect Ratio has always been there, but essentially I need to set it to "auto" manually. Can this be set permanently to auto, or would that cause an issue with non-HD channels?
Thanks.

Re: 1.3c Audio Stuttering & HD Aspect Ratio
can you post a log.txt of the HD Aspect Ratio issue please?

Re: 1.3c Audio Stuttering & HD Aspect Ratio
Hope this is sufficient, let me know if it isn't.
At the end I change the aspect ratio manually by using the "Right Click - Aspect Ratio - Auto" method. But selecting "Fill" works just as well.
It works the same in either windowed or full-screen mode.
I moved from BBC News (properly displayed in wide-screen) to BBC HD - which displayed with black bars along the sides, which would appear to be a stretched 4:3 or, possibly, 16:10. The TV is a 16:10 FullHD 1080P type.

Re: 1.3c Audio Stuttering & HD Aspect Ratio
For some reason it thinks BBC HD is broadcasting at 720x480.
If you press Control + D - what resolution is shown?
Do you have the Arcsoft Decoder you could try rather than the PowerCinema one?
TheNewGuy may have some more input on this also

Re: 1.3c Audio Stuttering & HD Aspect Ratio
1440 x 1080.
If you mean the decoder for H.264, then I have the Cyberlink one, but that gives no picture at all on any channel!

Re: 1.3c Audio Stuttering & HD Aspect Ratio
Your currently using:
2010-04-01 17:05:39.747 [DEBUG] - PCM H.264/AVC Decoder
I wondered if you had the one we supply ArcSoft Video Decoder , it might be the decoder causing the issue perhaps

Re: 1.3c Audio Stuttering & HD Aspect Ratio
That's correct.
I have the original disk that came with the card, if it's on there.
Problem is, I also have ArcSoft's Total Media Theatre and that hasn't installed the H.264 decoder such that it can be found by WinTV.
How do I install it individually, or copy it to somewhere it can be found and utilised?

Re: 1.3c Audio Stuttering & HD Aspect Ratio
Your original disc was a PowerCinema CD right? If so you won't get the ArcSoft Decoder.
TheNewGuy can confirm my thinking on this issue.

Re: 1.3c Audio Stuttering & HD Aspect Ratio
That's right. So how do I go about fixing these issues?
