This version of Win TV can only be used with European DVB boards. CD 1.3c

Hello!

I have tried to install the new cd 1.3c, but when the installation of win tv 7 starts, the next error is displayed:

"This version of Win TV can only be used with European DVB boards."

I have a Dell with a NOVA DVB-T card, and I live in Spain.

What could be the problem?

what model product do you have? (i.e 5 digit code on the side of the board)

can you post up the C:\program files\wintv\wintv7\wintv7.log if there is one

This is what I can read in the log from the previous cd version:
Model Detected was: 18109

Ah right, yes this model isn't in the model list for WinTV v7. Dell supply their own app with this board.

Did you purchase a copy of WinTV v7?

No, I didn't purchase anything appart from the laptop itself.

I thought I could use the software, provided that I bought the hardware, but from what you say it seems that the case for Dell is special...

So, no WinTv7 for me, is it?
Anyway I can download every CD to update the drivers...
