HVR-2250 volume issue

I have an issue with the volume level when using the Composite/S-Video and audio inputs on the HVR-2250s. The volume seems to be about half of that compared to ATSC and coax cable inputs,and it seems to drift up and down.
I just found this thread http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=17156 that seems to address the low volume, but I am a little confused with getting the right value for the right card/input.

I am soo dumb. I needed all line ins to go up, and it fixed them all at once.

I used +13 to match the coax cable input. It seems like this has raised the volume on the QAM input, but I can play around with tuner and input to try and balance them since I did not see a QAM option. For now it is definitely usable.

It would be nice to see an application like irconfig to set these in a GUI, but the reboot need might limit the usefulness.

I would like to bump up the volume for the HVR-1600 and HVR-950Q TV tuners.

Is there an equivalent registry tweak for these tuners as the ones in 22xx_reg_audio_patch.zip supplied by Mr. X did not work on my Win XP system?

I have had a low volume problem with my card HVR-1600 when playing TV and watching a recording it just seem to low , what I did is down loaded DFX and ran it in the back ground to boost audio levels up and that did the trick
