WinTV v7 - New CD 1.3c (7.0.28083) available
The download version is FREE upgrade from previous versions of WinTV v7, WinTV v6 or WinTV 2000.
*** New Feature - keep your existing Channel Line Up/Schedules/Favourites ***
This version will upgrade over the top of CD 1.2 or higher. During installation you will be asked if you would like to use your existing channel database. If you choose yes, you will keep all your scanned channels etc.
Please note you must un-install WinTV v6 or any version older than CD 1.2 before installing this version.
If you have issues upgrading from a previous version, we suggest removing the old version and installing this version instead.
For WinTV v7 SD, WinTV v6 or WinTV 2000 the web download does not contain the H.264, AC3, HE-AAC/LATM Decoders for Watching High Defintion broadcasts. The High Definition Version of the CD which includes these Decoders is available here for a nominal cost of licensing and postage.

WinTV v7 will use 3rd party decoders and now allows you to choose which decoders to use from a drop down list. Only the officially supplied ArcSoft decoders are officially supported. 3rd Party decoders can be used at your own risk.
** NEW FEATURE **
For WinTV v7 HD users this version will upgrade your existing decoders to newer versions if you are performing an upgrade from a previous version OR if you have your original HD Version of the CD-ROM in the drive during installation from a new install. ** DO NOT INSTALL HCWSMD08 FROM YOUR ORIGINAL CD-ROM NOW **
