Channel search crash wintv 7 on Windows 7
Just installed (well 3 weeks ago) HVR 3000 and winTV 7 on Windows 7 prof. Installation went fine, software seems to work ok. But when I try to do a channel search (with setting for Belgium it scan and crash) with Nederlands setup it scans , but does not display any found channel (analog cable or any other) in the list. Upon completion if I press the "next" button...A have a crash catched by the JIT debugger (see attached logs).
I have tried various setting for channel search (DVB-Sat, analog antenna, cable, FM radio) everything crash when clicking next (with channel list blank after the search) and I am sure there are channels bcos I tested with my satellite decoder and my TV is connected to the same antenna cable.

Re: Channel search crash wintv 7 on Windows 7
got the info from hauppauge a couple of hours after sending them the logs and I congratulate them on their fast reply and have solved the problem:
Solution was to uninstall winTV 7 with hwclr.exe then deactivate UAC (user account control in Win7 ) as well as disabling firewall and antivirus (which is MES microsoft esential security) and reboot like that and do a full reinstall of drivers and wintv 7 then channel scanning worked by setting the country to Netherland B4 scanning channels (there is still the "known" scanning bug for Belgium)
