Youtube has a 2GB limit, i challenge you to hit that with a 10min video![]()
Hello, as you can see from my name I like to use youtube and the HD PVR would be the best option to record gameplay footage. But I'm little concerned because HD filesize is so massive and wanted to know if you guys know that is it true you can reduce the file size significally by converting the raw file into .FLV without losing quality? (A guy said that he managed to compress a 650MB file into ~6MB .FLV)
Or what preparations people do before uploading a video to youtube then? I don't see it likely that they upload a 600-800Mbit file just like that.
Oh, and another question, which was actually asked in some other thread but was never replied. So, will an HD PVR ordered from USA work in Europe households (Finland)?

Yeah I know and it's not about that but I ask because I've got a low-speed internet connection it's not very nice to spend hours and hours uploading those 600Mbit files. So do those other uploaders then have at least 10Mbp/s upload speeds or what?
Trouble with compressing a video is that it will lower the quality. I convert to .wmv but it doesn't compress it by much. Best thing to do it lower the resolution and frame rate if you want a smaller file. Try experimenting with different types of compression.
yer an average file of wmv is about 500mb.
