Post WinTV 7 Crashing on Windows 7 X64 Ultimate

I have the installed Nova-T PCI card drivers and WinTV (all versions so far) - it works fine in Windows 7 Media Player (terrible signal) but WinTV crashes just after the splash screen appears, after "check health"

TV's in the house get an excellent signal - almost 100%, so not sure why MC get such a bad signal. My transmitter is Huntshaw Cross

I am running Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, with 4gb ram 1.5tb drives etc with administrator rights. WinTV 1.2C -not been able to get this to run at all in with my current setup.

The error I get in event log is:-

Faulting application name: WinTV7.exe, version: 1.0.27322.0, time stamp: 0x00000034
Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bdbdf
    Exception code: 0xe0434f4d
    Fault offset: 0x0000b727
    Faulting process id: 0xff8
    Faulting application start time: 0x01ca778191953844
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\WinTV\WinTV7\WinTV7.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\syswow64\KERNELBASE.dll
    Report Id: d099258e-e374-11de-b5c5-001731d646f8

My error seems similar to this one http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=18766.

Attahced is mdmp file - any help most appreciated as it's starting I'm starting to loose confidence in it.

    TIA

according to this google result turning off HW acceleration fixed the issue with bad graphics driver. Do you have Intel Graphics?

Changed the renderer options from nvidia to application and still the same - crashes before it even opens the application.

I'm fairly sure your mdb database file has managed to corrupt itself. When this happens it always results in logs that finish at that same point.

If you've got MSAccess on your machine, you can try opening the hcwChanDB_5.mdb file, and selecting the 'Compact and Repair' option. Otherwsie try replacing your existing file with the one attached. You'll probably need to kill the two background HauppaugeTVServer.exe and CaptureGenPCI.exe processes.

Used the supplied DB's but still the same -

In my ODBC I have entries for access etc - should there be any entries relating to WinTV?
