WinTV v7 - Delay with remote control

I've recently installed Windows 7, and had to move to WinTV 7 as a result. Previously, WinTV 4.2 worked brilliantly, but now v7 gives me a small delay between the time I press something on the SKY remote to when I see the change on screen.

I live in NZ, and am using the 4000 card to hook up MySKY HDi settop box via S-Video. My question is, can I have the old snappy response from WinTV 4.2 back? I have tried the three video decoders included with v7, but nothing improved. Cheers.

There is always a small delay in WinTV v7 from the external inputs.

In the next CD version we have a "Game Mode" which is live, like in WinTV v6. This will give you your snappy response, but will have certain limitations like slip mode not being enabled etc. More exact details nearer the release.

i could never play my PS2 due to the 1-2 second delay

yeah, we have lots of nice things planned for WinTV v7 in CD 1.3 onwards.
