    Default hvr 900h can't tune digital tv

    Help me please I cant tune any dvb-t channels even when using amplified outside aerial. Can get annolouge channels ok but I spend most of my time in a digital only area. What I don't understand is I can phisicaly see the transmitter 5-10miles away yet nothing.
    HELP PLEASE

    Your log complains about missing filters/codecs

    (if you haven't done it allready)
    1. Run hcwclear.exe (that's the wierd part)
    2. Reboot
    3. Reinstall

    Just tested CD1.2b (and CD1.2a) with my HVR900H: DVB-T/MPEG2 works.

    You can't see DVB-T/MPEG4 in WinTV7 if you havent got the "HDTV"-codec (see posts in this part of the forum)

    Tried uninstal with hcwclear then reinstal as per the instruction booklet that came in box. Did this 6 or 7 times over the last week nothing. DL updates from hauppauge site also DL driver updates from fujitsu site nothing. Was ready to take unit back as useless for refund. but decided to try once more not following instructions. When unit plugged in instruction say dont install automatically do it from disc, tried automatic find drivers for unit then insert disc and install only wintv from disc and hey presto it works fine.

    so problem now fixed
