WinTV 7 1.2a Log file Size

i looked in my logs folder from wintv 7 Oo

what i found is a 72 MB and a 9 MB Logfile (text )

Does WinTV 7 spy my PC? Oo Or whats wrong there?

I found a crash dump file too its older but from 1.2a

Yep, sorry - this a known bug in WinTV 1.2a, fixed for the next release.

Does WinTV 7 spy my PC?

No, but it does log more info than it should be. It does get overwritten each time you reboot though.

ah ok Logging so much may be usefull in some cases --> But only if needed when i have special problems or so.

May be it would be good to let this implemented but this extended logging should be user activated --> Debug Mode so that the software only logs normal until the user needs the extended logging for support reasons.

Unknown at this stage. WinTV development resources have been temporarily assigned to other work, so there isnt much progress being made for the next WinTV release right now.

That list the summarized "wish list" of things people have been asked for in future release.

There will most likely be a few things implemented from that list. Many of the items on that list are either to low priority, or there would require too much time implement. There are also some items that are not well aligned to our goals, and may never be implemented.

At the moment that specific bug has not been fixed. We would like it fixed, but it is unknown if that'll be done for the next release. The analog teletext problem is occuring in a third party software software, so we're dependent on that third party to address the situation.

Sorry, this is unknown at this stage. It depends on the way some other projects progress.
