Feature Request
My apologies if this already exists and I can not see how to do it.
In WinTV7 there's the excellent feature that when a scheduled recording starts, the WinTV main viewer does not activate. This is a fine feature for my computer, as displaying the current recording taxes my processors, and make doing anything else difficult. This is my most favoured feature upgrade between WinTV6 and WinTV7.
Due to scheduling issues it's often difficult to record one show that ends, say, at 7 pm, and start another at 7pm using only the in-built scheduler. Often the grey area of ads and station IDs is brief, but enough to change channels, but not always right on the hour. This is easily solved with a dual tuner, but I do not have such, only a 950Q.
So, sometimes it necessary for me to:
1.) Record a show and watch live
2.) Stop the recording
3.) Immediately change channel
4.) Start recording
I am asking if it's possible to start a recording with the Red Button on the main interface, then shut down WinTV7 but keep the application recording in the background, just like the current scheduled recording method?
Am I making sense here? If it's already possible to open WinTV7, see live TV, begin recording and shut it down while leaving it recording, how might I do that?

Re: Feature Request
We do plan to add this feature yes along with being able to press Record and then change channel (when you have multiple tuners)

Re: Feature Request
Gentlemen, thank-you. Again, this product continues to excel. Please consider this a solved issue for the FAQ thread.
