Default TV Tuner for both PAL and NTSC

Hi, I am planning to buy a Hauppauge winTV-HVR TV Tuner card. I want to buy a TV Tuner card that supports both NTSC and PAL standards. Please let me know which of your model will work on both PAL and NTSC. It also has to be Windows Vista 64-bit compatible.
    Please suggest me.

    Regards,
    Naveen

From which source do you wish to connect NTSC and PAL?

From the actual tuner i.e Aerial cable from the aerial on the roof, there is no tuner that can do both.

If you want to receive UK signals (PAL) from an aerial but connect say an NTSC DVD player up to the composite - this isn't a problem.

I actually have the same question. Is this possible with any products?

I was taking a look at the WinTV-PVR-USB2 model.

This unit appears to be sold in multiple countries, and I have read the quick start guides for the US, UK, Singapore versions which all indicate that it is possible to select from either PAL/NTSC tuner format during installation/setup.

I am currently located in the US and would like to purchase this unit from a US reseller, and configure/test it with a computer here using an analog NTSC signal. After this is done the unit/computer will be sent to Singapore where it will be used on an analog PAL signal after changing the configuration (if possible).

this isn't possible, the Quick Start is jsut generic. There are two different models one with NTSC tuner and one with PAL tuner

Ah..I see. Thank you very much for the quick reply. A little disappointing but it's no big deal, I'll just buy 1 tuner from each country to move forward.

I'm guessing that all variations of this device probably support both pal/ntsc via the composite input but the rf tuners are tailored to each market and only support 1 signal type.
